Water Well Inspections

Ensure the reliability and performance of your water well with a comprehensive professional inspection. Whether purchasing a property or assessing an existing well, our inspection services provide critical insights into water quality, system efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

If the original driller’s log is available, we will compare the initial well yield to its current performance, identifying any significant decline and potential concerns.

For properties without an operational pump system or power supply, we offer temporary pump deployment and onboard power solutions to conduct a full assessment.

Trust our expertise to provide accurate data, detailed reporting, and professional recommendations to safeguard your investment.

Our Inspection Covers:

  • Water Quality: Testing for bacteria, minerals, and contaminants.

  • Aquifer Capacity: Determining well yield, static & pumping water levels.

  • System Deficiencies: Evaluating well components, including casing, seals, pumps, and pressure systems.

Pre-Inspection Requirements:

  • The seller should provide well history (form supplied).

  • The well should remain unused for at least 12 hours before inspection.

  • Inspections occur Monday–Thursday (minimum 5-hour process).

Lab Testing & Results:

  • Lab analytics can be customized to specific requirements.

  • Lab results take up to 5 business days (rush options available).

What Happens Next?

  • A preliminary summary is provided by phone.

  • A detailed report follows with findings, recommendations, and any required corrective actions.

FAQs

Is a flow test the same as an aquifer test?
No. A flow test measures pump output at a specific time but doesn't indicate long-term well sustainability. An aquifer test evaluates whether the well can maintain the required pump rate.

Does an older well always need replacement?
Not necessarily. A well built in a good aquifer and properly maintained can last decades.

Is a newer well always in good condition?
No. Poor construction or neglect can cause issues even in relatively new wells.

Can an inspection determine if I need a water treatment system?
Yes, based on water quality results. We provide recommendations but do not sell specific treatment systems.
